Process Safety Management (PSM)

- Conduct gap analyses on new or existing Process Safety Strategies aligned to international standards.
- Provision of practical improvement implementation plan and project scope from assessments of current Process Safety Strategies to satisfy company SHE improvement plans for implementation.
- Perform audits on process safety elements that have been implemented to internal company standard and/or industry best practices.
- Co-develop effective tools and procedures for PSM elements that have been implemented and that require such interventions were applicable.
- Provide Process Safety training, coaching and mentoring through personal shadowing and knowledge sharing with core Process Safety teams / SHE departments to improve Process Safety culture.
- Conduct a review of Major hazardous Installation reports and assess alignment with new MHI regulations for further improvements.
- Provide an understanding on current HAZOP studies and any PHA (Process Hazard Analysis) conducted.
- Assess Emergency Response plans and effectiveness.
- Facilitate Management of Change (MOC) processes, Maintenance Integrity strategies and assist in identification of Process Safety Critical Equipment for compliance and Risk Based maintenance plans.
- Facilitate and coach on Process Safety related incident investigations and root cause outcomes.
- Provide tools for effective Process Safety leading and lagging indicators management according to API 754 standards.
- Assist with trouble shooting operational plants from a Process Safety perspective.
- Provide a practical approach to Process Safety Information gathering as per CCPS and CAIA standards.
